Tablets perfect, don't buy the case

The tablet is very good for the price and very fast. The official red magic case is useless good in practice but the corners are very brittle mine broke after a week recommend getting a third party one with the bendy plastic.

Love it so far but it need a stylus.

I have been using the tablet for 2 weeks now. I have an ipad pro 13inch but it's simply too large and heavy for comfortable one-handed use. I was looking for something bigger than my phone, but more portable than the iPad , and the Astra hits that sweet spot. At the moment I use it for youtube and netflix 80% and 20% browsing. Doom scrolling I still do on my mobile... old habits die hard. The good :-OLED Screen, bright with strong blacks. Also lots of adjustments can be done to calibrate. -Size and form factor. 16:10 ratio aspect is close to perfect for everyday use. -Weight of 370g 9 inch vs ipad pro 11 inch has 444g. One of the main reason got it is weight. -Touch button is fast - prefer it over face recognition which isn't reliable) -Wif and bluetooth connection are quite reliable The not so good : Stylus not available or included. I still hope the make one - Brightness auto adjustment is unpredictable. - Sound is not bad but decent, my mobile sounds better. Would love to see:-Battery saving function when on sleep mode as efficient as apple. Silicone carbon battery as battery life is around 6-7 hours on watching video. 10 hrs would be lovely. - Ring Magnet integrated in the back frame. - Case origami style case like Moft makes for ipads that raises the tablet from the ground. - Antireflective screen protector not available. For me at the moment, its almost all what I wanted. Still hoping to see that stylus. Beeing one of the very very few OLED 9 inch screens on the market I am sure many non gamers are considering it. It blows the ipad mini out of the water.

Fantastic tablet

The biggest feature on a tablet is it's screen - and by far the best feature on this tablet is the absolutely gorgeous OLED screen.

This thing is fast, it has a little fan that blows to nowhere but I'm glad it's there.

So far it has handled absolutely everything I could throw at it.

The build quality on this is awesome. Feels really sturdy in the hand.

The negatives:
1. The translation in some parts of the OS feels like it was not even ran through an AI translator. Come on, it's easy - give me the Chinese and I'll translate this into better English for you.
2. The speakers. These are a major weakness of this tablet. Sure it's a gaming tablet and most of the time you would be using it to game with, but you could open up the market by just providing better speakers. It should have come with speakers on all four corners, but it came with only 2. I have tried tweaking this by varying the eq settings and it has improved, but come on - why does my 8 year old ipad mini sound better? Why is this an after thought for so many hardware developers?
3. It would be worthwhile if the tablet had a magnet sensor built in - so that when a magnetic case closes shut, it turns off the tablet.

Think about these things for the next iteration.

Overall well build tablet waiting for more updates as my game got closed few times for no reason could be updates but I couldn't find why. Anyway I'm happy with this tablet it's not just for gaming for daily use as well, sounds quality could get better hope in future updates. Visual just wow keep up the good work ♥️🪄

I was a NEXUS 7 fan - Google launched the perfect pocketable tablet - Thin Light and a joy to use. And we have been without a decent flagship device for almost 14 years since.
ASTRA answers all my prayers - well except for pogo pins a 2nd usb c and a headphone jack - but these are minor gripes - AWESOME

Very solid gaming tablet

This is imo one of the best options for an android oled gaming tablet. It would be better if it had a headphone port and because 3rd party accessory support is kinda rough on this device, it would've been nice if it had a pre installed screen protector.
